Joshua Rothenberg, DO
Joshua Rothenberg, DO is the founder and publisher of the Sports Review Journal, He received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Miami where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian of his major. He attended Nova Southeastern University's College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school where he enjoyed his primary interest, musculoskeletal medicine. Joshua was honored in the Psi Sigma Alpha Scholastic Honor Society for graduating in the top 10% of his medical school class, and had his sights set on a residency that complemented his skill set as an Osteopathic physician.
He currently serves as a sports medicine fellow at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He was a former Chief Resident for the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency program at the University of Miami. He combined two of his passions, sports medicine and design, to create the Sports Review Journal. He formerly served as a resident team physician for St. Thomas Aquinas High School Football alongside a mentor of his, Dr. James Ross. He has been published by the Journal of Medical Cases, Florida Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Internet Journal of Oncology. He is married to his beautiful wife, Jenna, and currently resides in South Florida. Josh is an avid fan of the Miami Hurricanes, Orlando Magic, Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Pittsburgh Pirates. He enjoys recreational time playing basketball, spending time with family and friends, and honing his skills in graphic design.
Lastly, he would like to dedicate this journal to his parents, both of whom have battled cancer, and are his inspirations. He would also like to thank the rest of his family for their continued support of his ideas.
